Part 2 - What Motivates People To Buy?

MikeDillard, in his book, ‘Magnetic Sponsoring’, quotes Perry Marshall:

“Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill. They wanted a hole.  Therefore, if you want to promote drills, you should advertise information about making holes – NOT information about drills!’ – Perry Marshall.

“Nobody who bought a Lawn Mower actually wanted a Mower.  They wanted a Good Looking Lawn.  Therefore, if you want to promote  Lawn Mowers, you should provide information about how to make good looking Lawns – NOT information about Lawn Mowers! – Manny Bermas.

“Nobody who bought a Water Ionizer actually wanted a Water Ionizer.  They wanted a healthy body. Therefore, if you want people to invest in a Water Ionizer, you should provide information about how to stay healthy – NOT just information about Water Ionizers.  – Manny Bermas.

Why Did I Buy A Water Ionizer?

a)  I invested in a Water Ionizer because I wanted my family and myself to stay healthy.  I wanted to prevent cancer from popping anywhere in my body.  I wanted to play it safe, by filling my system with a truly Anti Oxidant Water to make sure that the free radicals in my body are kept calm and thus prevent them from wrecking havoc with the cells in my entire body. 

b) Some people invest in a Water Ionizer with two goals in mind. First, for health reasons and the second one  because they wanted to leverage their time and effort. They wanted to be able to duplicate their efforts and therefore generate more income with less number of hours at work so that they could spend more time with their kids and  family.

How Can I Stay Healthy? 

Having a healthy diet, sufficient exercise, and 7-8 hours of sound sleep is not enough.  In 2009, I discovered that we need to accomplish two more things.

a) To be able to continuously calm down  the free radicals in our system by drinking an anti oxidant  water produced by a process called electrolysis* and

b) To alkalize our system.  Our usually acidic system is a breeding ground of diseases.  Our system is acidic on account  of our diet, the habit of drinking soda, and not drinking enough clear non bottled water. 

Electrolysis.

Electrolysis is a process whereby water from the water tap  is fed to an appliance, which first filters the water  and then feeds the water across electrically charged titanium plates, plated with platinum. This procedure splits the water molecule into the anti oxidant alkaline part OH- and the acidic part, H+.

In other words, the Electrolysis process splits the water, H2O molecule into the anti oxidant OH- part and the acidic  H+ part.

The machine or appliance which accomplishes the splitting of the water is called a Water

Ionizer.

1) I have over 30 years Traditional Marketing experience but highly recommend that you read Mike Dillard easy to understand, no-nonsense, how to Marketing Book.  It will convince you that you do not have to be a sales person.  All you do is share your story and allow the person to make the buying or investing decision.  

Honestly present the facts and leave it at that.  DO NOT sell.  Simply present the information with sincere intention to help the person.  Establish a long term friendship first.  All good things will follow.
