Book Review: Confessions Of A Skeptical Physician

(From time to time, I shall be posting excerpts from the book by Dr. Tim McKnight, MD.  I highly recommend however that you obtain a soft cover copy of the book for your complete reference.  Bookmark this postings and feel free to submit your questions below on the comment space below).

I cannot overemphasize enough the importance of the information in this book.  For ourselves individually and our family and friends.   

As you might know, I am a cancer survivor,  (2000),  and started reading up about healthcare since then. 

For your ready reference, I will post short excerpts from the book to serve as your instant info center, but you must have the book in your library, for you and your kids, your parents.

ACIDIC STRESS:

Dr. McKnight  defines acidic stress as the result of chronic acid exposure, primarily from diets which are:

·        High in sugars,

·        Animal proteins (especially red meat and dairy products),

·        Emotional  stress,

·        Physical stress (from lactic acid buildup) or eliminations problems such as kidney failure.

The average American diet, which is high in protein and low in fruits and vegetables, can generate a significant amount of acid daily. Such a diet raises the acid burden and the need for alkaline-rich water. 

By drinking (sufficient amount) of alkaline rich water, we may preserve our bone minerals and limit the release of calcium into the blood, thus lowering the risk of developing both kidney stones and gout. 

(If the release of calcium into the blood becomes extra high because we are acidic,-  the result is osteoporosis among other things,   multiple bone fractures which could result in infections, pneumonia and untimely death.

The above started with our diet of meat like burgers, sugars in cakes, pastries, fruit juices, sodas,  and very little intake of fresh fruits and fresh veggies. 

In summary,  if we do not neutralize our acidic system, the following will be visiting our body).

·        Acid Reflux

·        Cancer

·        Gout

·        Kidney Stones

·        Osteoporosis

·        Dental diseas.

Part 2 - What Motivates People To Buy?

MikeDillard, in his book, ‘Magnetic Sponsoring’, quotes Perry Marshall:

Why Did I Buy A Water Ionizer?

a)  I invested in a Water Ionizer because I wanted my family and myself to stay healthy.  I wanted to prevent cancer from popping anywhere in my body.  I wanted to play it safe, by filling my system with a truly Anti Oxidant Water to make sure that the free radicals in my body are kept calm and thus prevent them from wrecking havoc with the cells in my entire body.

How Can I Stay Healthy?

In other words, the Electrolysis process splits the water, H2O molecule into the anti oxidant OH- part and the acidic  H+ part.

The machine or appliance which accomplishes the splitting of the water is called a Water

Ionizer.

1) I have over 30 years Traditional Marketing experience but highly recommend that you read Mike Dillard easy to understand, no-nonsense, how to Marketing Book.  It will convince you that you do not have to be a sales person.  All you do is share your story and allow the person to make the buying or investing decision.  

Honestly present the facts and leave it at that.  DO NOT sell.  Simply present the information with sincere intention to help the person.  Establish a long term friendship first.  All good things will follow.  

2) Read up all you can about Enagic Company.  It is a heavy weight first class company to be associated with.  

 

Your Own Business - Part 1

a)  You are an employee now and  making an annual  six figure income which is great. But a nagging thought occasionally pops up in your mind –

                                                        

‘Will I still have this job next year or for the next  five years? Your Plan B

                

Most everyone needs a Plan B.  In  this day and age, the only thing certain is uncertainty. If you have a  job, Most thank God for it.  What about after six months from now, will you still have this job? Not sure?  Do not worry, you are not alone.

So, what’s the alternative, or what is a good Plan B.

The following is a brief summary. .

Set up your own business.

What kind of business?

From among many to choose from, I suggest,  the healthcare sector.

Why? It is human nature, - we do not want to get sick. We want to be up and about, right?

Healthcare. 

What can we supply this market to keep them healthy.  Even if people eat healthy, do some exercise, sleep 6-8 hours a night, drink enough water, there is still a question.

What kind of water are they drinking? There are mainly two kinds of water.

Acidic and Alkalinic.  Acid is the seed of disease!  So we need to alkalize ourselves or we die early, very early and a painful death because of cancer this or cancer that.

Ionized Alkaline water is the answer. The Japanese has already proven this fact.  Japan is #1 in life longevity.  Of course the  good health of the Japanese is not entirely because of the water. They eat healthy and eat in small portions.

 The US is #38.  So, let’s not argue this fact. The Japanese are doing something right and we are not.  The Ionized Alkaline Water I will talk about is not on trial.  Its already been proven the past many, many  years and used by over 400,000 people, that the alkaline ionized  water keeps people healthy.
