Foreclosures, Unemployment, High Gas Prices… Uncertainty!
The only thing certain is uncertainty. We have no control in the overall direction of the economy, world peace and etc. We have no control of our jobs, even our 401(K), SS checks, and Medicare.
So, what should we do? Good question. If you have a job today, thank God for it. In the meantime however, you need a back-up plan. (I am a retiree, so I have been around for some time now. I started out as an Engineer, obtained a Business Education, was a Business Management Consultant and have a Home-Based business).

Your prospects would be existing Home-Based business owner, existing On-Line Networkers, Real Estate Agents, Teachers, anyone who is currently employed, the ranks of unemployed, Baby Boomers, almost everyone. Think about it.
